For years people asked me..."What kind of music do you play?"
And for years I'd shuffle my feet,
squirm a little and mumble something, not really knowing what to say.
But now I say, "It's "My" Music."
That's the best way I know how to describe it...
Because it's music filled with both spiritual and emotional passion.
22 years ago my family and I began
learning our peoples' real history: learning chumash, learning halacha,
observing shabbos, putting on tefillin,
learning to daven ... learning, learning, learning.
Then the Rebbes of Lubavitch found us
and it was a done deal.
I heard an audio shiur that said
if you will learn and do what this sefer teaches,
the inner workings and pathways of your mind will change,
and so too, your life.
The author was the Alter Rebbe and the sefer was
"The Tanya."
I have been playing music since I was 11:
with bands and without bands.
I have been writing songs since I was 19.
I live in Phoenix with my incredible wife of many years.
I've played festivals, coffee houses, theatres, synagogues, living rooms
and any other place they 'd have me. I've opened for musicians
such as Shwecky and The Moshav Band and
